Young Adults and Men's Group

Young adults (18-30) and men's group (30s, 40s and 50s)

Sonder (noun): the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own

Young adults (18-30)

Saint Peter’s is blessed with vibrant and active young adults, who offer fellowship and leadership within the parish in all areas of its common life—in liturgy, government, mission, ministry to children and young families, and ecumenical relations.

Sonder Brighton is an ecumenical young adults’ group that is a member of the wider Sonder Collective which is administered by Murrumbeena Uniting Church. The Sonder Brighton arm also has the support of the Brighton Covenant Churches. It aims to provide a community for young adults from a variety of different Christian denominations who otherwise may lack the opportunity to meet other Christians their age within their own local church community. The group hopes to build up the churches in the local community by galvanising young adults in the local area to continue attending church on a regular basis and to engage constructively with the whole local community. Activities include bible studies, church visiting, charity work, social activities, quarterly dinners with guest speakers, and providing assistance to Brighton Covenant of Churches events. The ultimate goal of the group is to glorify God. For all enquiries, please contact the group’s coordinator, Alex Bolitho, by emailing, or visit the Sonder Brighton Facebook page for the latest bulletin.’

Men's group (30s, 40s and 50s)

The men’s group at Saint Peter’s exists to support, encourage and strengthen the bonds of fellowship for men (30s, 40s and 50s) in and around Saint Peter’s. The group gathers together regularly, simply and informally. All welcome. For all inquiries please contact John Braddon, group coordinator, by email on
