Children & Families
First Sunday of each month at 12pm 'Kids Church'
A special Kids Church service for young children and families will be held at 12.00pm on the first Sunday of each month in 2018, except April (Easter Sunday). The language of the service is simplified to help small children understand the intent of the prayers and to encourage their involvement. The music is also easily remembered, so that young ones can join in without reading, and we share a story instead of more formal teaching. The whole service is concluded within 40-45 minutes and is held in the chancel. A light lunch will be served immediately after the service.
Third Sunday of each month at 10am Family Service for Children and young families
Once a month, on the third Sunday of the month, children, young families and the whole congregation of Saint Peter’s remain in the church throughout the whole service. The whole congregation enjoys a time of story-telling, singing, fun, friendship and play at this informal eucharist for children of all ages, followed by a scrumptious morning tea.
